Safeguarding
Child safeguarding is the set of actions that nga tangata/everyone can take to protect tamariki and rangatahi from abuse and harm. This includes protecting them from emotional, physical and sexual abuse, and neglect. Child safeguarding and child protection go hand in hand. Tennis Marlborough are proactive to ensure our junior players are in a safe physical and emotional environment as detailed in the TNZ Tennis Participation Protection Regulations.
