SIMON WINTER
Coach

Simon was born and bred in Marlborough leaving the region in the late 1980s to pursue a professional tennis coaching career. Simon gained his USPTA Coaching qualification and international experience in Florida.

On his return from overseas he spent 4 years at the Khandallah Tennis & Squash Club before becoming the Head Pro at the Wellington Renouf Tennis Centre for 13 years. During this time Simon was President of Tennis Coaches New Zealand for 7 years. From Wellington Simon moved to the Hawkes Bay with his wife and two boys to continue his coaching business and establish many thriving junior and adult development programs. 

Simon has made himself available to get involved with our HPTU program and we look forward to drawing on many decades of his knowledge.
