Some important reminders:

Time management
Be warmed up and ready to play before your allocated match time. If you are late, your opposition has the right to cancel the match and claim the win. Use discretion and always contact the competition organiser in case there's a really good reason they're late.

Balls
Always use the balls provided. If you want new balls please supply Head balls only, purchased locally.

Weather
If the fixture is cancelled due to weather conditions, there will always be a notification on this page under Latest News and our FB page, so please check. It may be that Rapaura courts are unplayable and therefore your game may have moved to an alternative venue. Please check the draw for details and contact your team manager - they are always notified prior by email.

Competition Results
These are entered by the winning team manager/college individual, direct into the MatchPoint app. Refer to the Competition administrator for details or help.

Primary School Teams
Please remember that tennis is a team sport, and your commitment is essential to ensuring a successful season. It’s not acceptable to simply ‘not turn up’ or withdraw at the last minute, except in cases of illness or unforeseen personal circumstances. If you are unable to play, always let your team manager know as early as possible.

Reserves
If you are asked to provide a spare player from your team to cover for another team due to illness or absence, we would greatly appreciate your support. This is a community junior event, offering children the chance to develop not only their tennis skills but also a spirit of generosity and teamwork.

Etiquette
Please follow the general tennis etiquette. This includes returning the ball gently back to your opposition, not walking behind the courts while they are in play (this is also very dangerous), shaking hands after the match, and general good sportsmanship.

Parents and Supporters
Please allow the players or team manager to score their own games. You are very welcome to watch and encourage from the sideline, but not from inside the court. Line calls and rules are the responsibility of the players, not spectators. If you have any concerns during the match, please speak with the MTA-appointed adult in charge on site. We also ask that you take a moment to read and follow our Parent Code of Conduct.

Remember to have fun! This is not Wimbledon, the experience should be positive for everyone.
