REILLY QUIRK

Junior Development Coach

Reilly has been coaching tennis full time since 2009. Based at the Marlborough Tennis Club in Blenheim contracted to Marlborough Tennis Association and Marlborough Tennis Club. 

Reilly has completed his Tennis Australia Junior Development coaching course, along with Level One SPARC ‘The principles of sports coaching’ qualification as well as being a qualified Football coaching and has his Swimming NZ Bronze Medallion for Life Saving. 

Our coaching program continues to grow as we’re always striving to be the best coaching academy in the South Island. Reilly’s coaching role includes being involved with Junior Aces through to HPTU coaching.

EVELINE APTHORP 

Coach

Tennis New Zealand  Certified Professional Tennis Coach (registered and a member of TCNZ). I have been playing tennis since the age of 9 and attained my tennis coaching certificate in The Netherlands. Presently I am the resident Coach at Rapaura Tennis Club, Blenheim and I also play competitive tennis here in Marlborough and in Canada.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

TRAINING 

UNIT

The Marlborough Tennis Association established the HPTU in 2010.

The cost is part funded by the MTA (25%).

The objective of the HPTU is to gather together our best local tennis talent and provide them with the necessary tools to develop into nationally ranked players.
